Organizations & teams
Invite teammates, manage roles, and work on dashboards together.
An organization is a shared workspace — dashboards, data sources, and integrations belong to the org rather than to one person. Invite teammates, set their role, and they can collaborate on the same content.
Your workspace
When you sign up, we create a default workspace for you. You can find it in the top-left org switcher. Click your name → New organization to create another (one account, many workspaces).
Each workspace is fully isolated — dashboards, data sources, and connected apps don't cross between them.
Inviting people
- Open Settings → Members.
- Click Invite member.
- Enter their email and pick a role.
- They get an email with a join link. Once they accept, they're in.
You can invite multiple people at once — paste a comma-separated list of emails.
Roles
| Role | What they can do |
|---|---|
| Owner | Everything, including delete the workspace and change billing |
| Admin | Manage members, data sources, integrations, and all dashboards |
| Editor | Create and edit dashboards; can't manage members or billing |
| Viewer | View dashboards they're invited to; can't edit anything |
Roles can be changed at any time from the members list.
Sharing dashboards within the org
By default, dashboards are private to their creator. To share with the whole workspace:
- Open the dashboard.
- Click Share → Invite team.
- Pick All members (everyone in the workspace) or Specific members.
For sharing outside the workspace — public links, password-protected links, embeds — see Sharing.
Switching organizations
Click the org name in the top-left. The switcher shows every workspace you belong to. Picking one swaps your view — dashboards, data sources, members are all scoped to the active workspace.
Shortcut: Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + O to open the switcher.
Leaving an organization
Open Settings → Account → Memberships, find the org, and click Leave. You lose access to everything in that workspace immediately.
If you're the only owner, transfer ownership first or you'll be asked to delete the workspace instead.
Audit log
Owners and admins can review every action taken in the workspace under Settings → Audit log:
- Members invited / removed
- Dashboards created / deleted / shared
- Data sources connected / disconnected
- Permission changes
The log shows who did what and when. Entries are kept for 90 days on the Free plan and 365 days on paid plans.
Next steps
- Sharing — public links, embeds, and invitations outside the org.
- Brand Kit — apply your brand to every dashboard in the workspace.
- Account & billing — plan upgrades and billing settings.
