Brand Kit

Apply your colours, fonts, and logo to every dashboard in your workspace — once.

The Brand Kit is one place to set your brand: logo, colours, typography, and chart palette. Once configured, every dashboard in your workspace picks it up automatically — no more tweaking each one.

Where to find it

Open Settings → Brand Kit. The kit lives at the workspace level, so everyone in your organization sees the same brand applied to shared dashboards.

Upload your logo as PNG or SVG. It appears in:

  • Dashboard headers
  • Share previews (the image people see when your link is posted on Slack, Twitter, etc.)
  • The TV pairing screen for your devices

Two slots — light mode logo and dark mode logo — so you can use a light version on dark backgrounds and vice versa.

Colours

Set your brand palette:

  • Primary — the main accent (buttons, highlights, links).
  • Secondary — supporting colour for charts and icons.
  • Surface — card and widget backgrounds.
  • Text — primary text colour.

Each colour has separate light-mode and dark-mode values, so dashboards look right whichever theme the viewer is using.

Chart palette

Charts use up to five series colours. Set them in Brand Kit → Chart palette. The first colour is used for single-series charts; subsequent colours apply to multi-series visualizations in order.

You can override the palette on a single chart widget without changing the global setting.

Typography

Pick a font from the curated Google Fonts list — or upload a custom font on the Business plan.

Supported formats:

  • .ttf (TrueType)
  • .otf (OpenType)
  • .woff2 (recommended for web)

Once uploaded, your fonts appear in every dashboard's typography picker alongside the Google Fonts. You can set separate fonts for headings and body text.

Applying the kit

Brand Kit is applied automatically to:

  • All new dashboards
  • Public share links
  • Embedded dashboards
  • TV / signage displays

Individual dashboards can opt out under Dashboard settings → Theme if you want to use a one-off theme for a specific use case (e.g. a holiday dashboard).

Per-widget overrides

Even with a Brand Kit applied, individual widgets can override:

  • Background colour
  • Text colour
  • Border style
  • Icon colour

Open the widget config panel → Appearance section.

Tips

  • Test in both modes. Set both light and dark variants of every colour — viewers may be on either.
  • High contrast for TV. Lobby screens are seen from a distance — bump up text colour contrast in the dark variant.
  • One brand, many dashboards. Use the Brand Kit instead of styling each dashboard individually — when you rebrand, you update once.

Next steps

  • Themes — how themes layer on top of the kit.
  • Dashboards — apply or opt out of the kit per dashboard.
  • Sharing — your kit shows on shared and embedded dashboards too.
